Residential Driveway Pressure Wash

Project Overview

A straightforward residential pressure wash on a concrete driveway that hadn't been cleaned in several years. The surface had accumulated oil stains from vehicle drips, widespread mould and algae growth, and general dirt build-up that had darkened the entire surface.

The Challenge

Oil stains on concrete require more than surface-level pressure — they need pre-treatment and dwell time to break down before washing. The mould growth was particularly heavy in shaded areas near the fence line, and the client wanted the driveway looking close to new without any chemical run-off into the adjacent garden beds.

The Solution

We pre-treated the oil stains with a concrete-safe degreaser and applied a biodegradable mould treatment across the full surface. After allowing proper dwell time, the entire driveway was pressure washed using a surface cleaner attachment for even coverage. Edges and expansion joints were detailed with a turbo nozzle.

The Result

The driveway came up significantly lighter and cleaner — close to its original pour colour. Oil stains were reduced by around 90%, and the mould was fully removed. The client was impressed with the difference and booked a follow-up clean for their rear patio.
